- organise storage if required
- disconnect the telephone/broadband/cable tv and get readings
- disconnect the electricity/gas
- cancel newspaper delivery
- remove rubbish from property

- arrange for your mail to be forwarded to your new address
- cancel/transfer household & contents insurance
- advise your banks/financiers/accountant, Medicare, health insurers, doctor/dentist, superannuation company, solicitors, employer of your next address
